This was fun and a different distraction on Nostr.
I'm not a political animal but in the Monday Football or NBA matchup sense, it was fun to watch and participate. As with pro sports, there seems to be an underbelly we don't see or recognize but it shapes the outcome. When billion$ are on the line, it's not left to the athletes, candidates or electorate to decide. The outcome regardless of how it falls benefits those who are really pulling the levers.

To again make a sports comparison...
The guy you always hated on team X gets traded to your team, he's now the missing piece which will win your team the cup. He's now a saint.

DeSantis and Haley are going to continue groveling and complaining about Trump only to pretend it never happened when they rally behind him at the convention!

Haley is controlled opposition and DeSantis is just an opportunist. He was nothing until Trump endorsed him. That said, Florida is a very cool state from my brief time (just under a month). Outside Miami, people are super chill, going about life and not paying much attention to the politics or authority of the state. DeSantis should build his brand there and exercise a little patience. High time preference Ron, will burn out fast.
