Plebs must consolidate UTXOs over time to ensure they don't become so small in value that they are effecritively unspendable as the average fee goes up with demand.

In this way, #Bitcoin is not actually free to hold: there is maintenance "fees" and a manual cognitive cost to users for ensuring most their value remains spendable.

What do you think a reasonable sat amt is for a pleb's cold storage. 1 million for a utxo?

That depends on what you think the fee will be at the time you plan to spend. If hyperbitcoinization happened today, how many UTXOs would be stranded?

I dont know, thats what makes it hard 😔

Slow down & breathe then. Hyperbitcoinization isn't happening today.

Like fiat dollars, keep some 1s, some 5s, a few 10s and 20s, maybe a couple 50s, and a 100. I used to say, "carry some quarters too," but those days are past. 😉

I don't understand your rationale. If hyperbitcoinization occurred now, and 1 sat = 1 USD, fees in sats would actually be much lower, not higher. So smaller UTXOs would become more spendable.

I don't think this is a safe assumption. No reason fees couldn't be higher in BTC terms with higher adoption reaching hyperbitcoinization.

You should do a rip with nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx about this on citadel dispatch!

For the retards like me!

hyerbitcoinization means tens of trillions of dollars of monetary activity sharing the same block space

Any tips on how to do this?
