Training > Gear.

There are loads of dudes who buy and build tons of tactical shit and seriously do not know what to do with it.

A trained man can use very basic tools; he's more or less indifferent. He respects and appreciate good kit, but he doesn't geek out on it like a soy boy.

Stuff is tools.

For contingency stuff, I train on a single rifle (knights armament sr15) and a single pistol (glock 17). For concealed carry, I train on a single setup (sig p365xl).

Don't get caught "collecting gear" and virtue signalling online to the bros. The function is all that matters, and the tools just enable the function.

Spend as much money and time as you do on training as you do on acquiring kit. We are leaving the "oh no civil unrest I might get a home invasion" phase and entering the "local governance is undone we are a sitting duck" phase.

My preferred tool for "home invasion" protection & training for such.

Shotguns are great but they, unlike common perception, are easy to miss with. Make sure you're crew is trained well on them.

Train hard & hope never to use it.
