Deporting a citizen is silly. I wouldnt want Kamala or O'Biden to deport you because of some Orwelian national security reason. (Aka you have the wrong political beliefs.) I'm sure they can throw a few federal charges at him for obstruction and he would go to jail.
I agree though, I see people doing things that regular law enforcement would shoot them for.
I wouldn't be in danger of being deported because I wound follow the laws. Literally would be the case in ANY country in the planet. Not just the US.

English is important because assimilation is mandatory. The difference between legal immigration of the 60s and 70s is that those people became Americans and merged into the community. Illegal immigration now there is no assimilation, they form enclaves little Somalia, little China, little Mexico and Lat Am.
