U paid 5000 sats for the relay (spam prevention, not profit seeking) and he refunded you, what are you upset about?

The attitude. Coming from someone who does technical support. That's not how you handle things. And as an operator or manager, not professional at all.
Surprised you got any support. You realize he's one of the most important devs on nostr right? He's got important stuff to do and he still made time for you. For 5000 sats not sure what you expect...
Dosent matter how important you are. In certain positions professionalism is required. But I am done with it and sticking to Wine relay, will add more in the future. It's very early and in a few months there will be dozens of reputable relays to choose from. Some cases it is better to agree to disagree. Good luck to him and his relay, but as far as me being a client to his relay, not a match and that's OK!
It's gonna be hard to find a (paid) relay not using something #[7] made to be honest..
