Yeah I feel like it’s not quite sparrow on desktop but it keeps getting better

Yeah if I’m using desktop it’s sparrow nothing beats it

Tell me more please

Does nfc work well for psbt? And does it have coin control?

Yes it has coin control. I do not know about nfc I just use QR codes with a Coldcard Q and a passport

Ah qr codes for psbt. Never tried that. Only with sd card. I’ll have to look into that

I’m a sd card maxi for deep cold storage. Nothing beats sparrow wallet

I love Sparrow. The best transaction coordinator

It has native NFC support for the Coldcard Mk4 and the Q, as well as Portal.

I take that back I’ve used it with a tapsigner before using nfc but I’ve never used nfc for psbt

Yes to both questions.

* Except for very large transactions where you might hit a NFC bandwidth limit, but extremely rare.

Would you run into a limit with a Tapsigner? It’s just like a blind signer, right?

Yeah, it's a blind hardware signer. With Nunchuk, it basically uses the Tapsigner as a key so that the Tapsigner is called whenever you tap the button to sign your transaction. And Nunchuk manages backup creation as well, so that if you lose or destroy your Tapsigner, you'll be able to restore the backup to a software key so you can access your funds. I don't believe there's any fund limit imposed by Tapsigner. It should be able to sign transactions regardless of the size. Personally, I love it and it's been a great experience when paired with Nunchuk.

Agreed. Easy to use and great for multi-sig. I use it with a couple buddies that we have group funds between us.

How does that work, and maybe I’m not imaginative, but why would someone want to have group funds with buddies?

Many reasons:

We bought a couple pigs together and offer them local to friends and family, proceeds go back into the multisig between us.

I set an organization I support up with a wallet, I hold 1 key they have the other two. I can pull address to send sats monthly for support, but can spends funds. I’m also there as a backup if a key gets lost.

Could also put sats in for a bet or pooling your money to do something together in the future.

Cheers 🤙🏽

I see. Thanks for sharing. Very interesting.

The organization part I get and have been thinking about thinking about maybe setting up a bitcoin savings for my company. I have a partner and might do something multisig like that. Having 3 people makes it nice from a security protocol perspective.

It’s a great product imo

Trying it with Tapsigner

🙏🏻

Nunchuk's my jam!

Yeah my fav just needs lightning wallet option integration for edc ⚡️
