Podcasting 2.0 fixes this.
We have something called PodPing (via Hive) that sends out notifications when shows go live or new ones are posted so apps update within a minute tops.

How does someone go about using podping?
Some podcast host do it for you, nostr:npub1yvgrrzf4dnmu30qfhw95x87ruu0g2kpv3a64h8hpvqsre8qeuspsgd6pv9's Sovereign Feeds let you do it or you can even do it in the ZeroNode IRC.
We do that automatically when you host your podcast with us (at podhome.fm)

Look up your feed. If you're going to do it more than once, add it to your favorites. When you're ready, make sure your feed is selected, then click the podping link. Do a simple math equation and press enter. Podping sent. 
As if Silicon Valley behemoths ever had a reputation for responsive customer service. Sounds like Megyn is having trouble adjusting to the downgrade from 'anointed M5M celebrity' with access to white-glove service to 'internet content creator' at the mercy of helpful plebs.
