Did you lose any appetite towards McDonalds and fast-food, after working there, or what kind of effect did it have on your perspective towards the whole industry?
Not really. I had a gf at the time and I’d make her and I special burger combos and bring her leftover apple pies lol.
I worked there when they had a smoking section and a playground. Todays McD’s is a different world. There are people who are comfortable making their living working there. A regular opener who worked there for 10+ years. Managers who were there for a career.
I used to give my co workers and managers rides home. I had a car at 17 and they would have no choice but to walk home because busses weren’t running.
