Some btc core devs disagree. Peter Todd for example has proposed adding a Tail emission in the fututure to help miners.
There’s another proposal about demiurge (I don’t fully understand how it works) which taxes users a certain amount to keep miners profitability.
Then there is Bip301 Blind Merge Mining (BBM) where bitcoin miners can secure btc sidechains without needing layer 1 nodes.
But I do agree be aware of those who are promoting such doomsday scenarios. We have at least a decade before addressing if it is indeed a problem and maybe by then number of transactions have increased.
