Yeah. That was kind of the point. People left Europe for America because of the monarchy situation. It was the most efficient form of government: dictatorship. As the dictator speaks, law is created. How incredibly efficient.
That's why when the founders set up the U.S., they did so in ways that would necessarily slow things down. They didn't want efficient change. By lowering the efficiency or speed of the government, they were rate limiting change and forcing proposed changes to exist for longer within the Overton Window, subjecting them to prolonged and greater levels of scrutiny and debate.
That’s not related to a bloated, resource suffocating bureaucracy. The point was to prevent the govt from the cancerous and never ending consumption of the country’s wealth. The point was to have POLITICAL resistance and make consensus extremely difficult so a massive multi trillion dollar corrupt bureaucracy **never developed** in the first place.
This isn’t part of the plan, it’s a total failure of what the founders were trying to prevent.
Yeah, I wasn’t agreeing with what they talked about in the video, nor am I a fan of bureaucracy.
I do think that the pendulum has a tendency to overswing neutral though, and that makes my comment important in the big picture, especially in light of talks of time-locking the US SBR.
