Agreed. I went deep down the rabbit hole of KDE because I heard so many people talking about the infinite configurability. Super cool stuff. But after setting up a bunch of desktops with it I came to realize i was pretty much just creatingwhat I already had with gnome but with more steps haha. I know that won’t be the same for everybody though. I’m a basic bitch Mac user for my main pc so I like that I can get a similar look and feel on gnome with just a few extensions installed.

Plasma always feels like xp cartoon design. Gnome is clean and gets out of the way.
