I had a similar argument to a dude saying we "need to explain users about Relays and how Nostr works".
It's obviously good if your users know about the technical details, but that can't be necessary.
Like, wtf are we talking about, we don't know how 99% of the tech we use daily works, why would Nostr be different.
Exactly. People can and should educate themselves on new tech and no doubt many will, but default experience should be easy that you don’t have to understand if you’re using the right relays or enough relays or whatever other concerns people have.
End user doesn't have to know how it work. Power users need to know how it works.
Same as with all tech.
Power users will set systems up and invite their friends, colleagues, congregation, and club members to it.
The default power user is the client developer, who sets the defaults. Thereafter comes the group or community admin-owner. Thereafter comes the layer 2 relay manager. Etc.
