Fountain 1.1.14 is live on iOS and Android 📲

Updates include:

🔸Nostr connect improvements

🔸Fixed bug where playback position was not being saved correctly

🔸Fixed bug where downloads were being automatically deleted

🔸Fixed bug where OPML import was failing on iOS 18

🔸Fixed bug where playlist items did not display the correct state

🔸Fixed bug where items disappeared from the user library when editing a playlist

🔸Fixed bug where player was being minimised when scrolling show notes

🔸Fixed deposit flow when entering via menu

🔸Fixed transcript page navigation and transcript errors on player

🔸Fixed crash when logging out

🔸Added ability to switch between NIP55 and nsec

🔸Added the ability to seek while paused

We are currently working on improving the login flow and we aim to roll out some big design/UX upgrades along with some new features in the next couple of weeks.

Oh nice! A bunch of the bugs fixed here are things that were actively annoying me every day (not that I stopped using the app).

So... When can those of us who logged in with Nostr set up a wallet, or at least be able to connect our own wallet via NWC? I can't boost, earn, or stream sats to anyone, which is one of the main selling-points of nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5.

I would also love to know timelines on that too. I get an error when trying to create a wallet while logged on with nostr so I can't boost.

I miss using Fountain for this reason 😢

Cool. I think you should really focus on fixing bugs and stability. I am forgiving a lot because I am a big bitcoin and Nostr fan, otherwise I'd stop using Fountain due to bugginess.

Are there any other bugs that you are experiencing on 1.1.14 that we should prioritise?

Thanks for reaching out. I'll give it some time to see if it's working well. One issue I can mention is that it seems to consume a lot of data although I have downloaded the podcast locally.
