that was basically my reaction as well. we don't need news orgs to join nostr. we can just add their feeds. done.

Jumping in to note: I’m able to read DMs but not the notification that I’ve received them when notification settings are tuned on.
Astral has been buggy like this the past day for me. I see a notification that I have a new DM from someone, I check and the DM is blank or not there, but then about 60 seconds later I check and it's there.
