React and JS toolchain fancy pants man bun people are like COBOL programmers to me

My biggest issue with React is this html wrapped in js inversion and the amount of boilerplate and breaking changes every version that leads to a huge mountain of technical debt in the near future.

Its nicely dressed up with pretty UIs, but that's enough to compensate for it, imo.

just stop it. this is "woke" coding. its not lean clean and generationally efficient engineering.

I know this might piss some people off today but i don't care.

Amen. We should deprioritize web UIs, in general. Tho I think of it more as fiat-coding than “woke” a it’s a rush to get something out as quickly as possible without regard to quality in hopes of rent-seeking (attention).

im convinced all ui frameworks suck. if i do another ui project i may consider yet another framework, but honestly dont see anything wrong with raw js and html
