New upper. π
Of course I built it myself. Taking it to the range tomorrow. I expect good things.

Yaasss
It's pretty π
I think I would say "it looks rad."
I almost said, "she's pretty" but I remembered how you reacted the last time I gendered one of your guns ππ
If you ever build/buy/acquire a firearm of your own, you can name and gender them all you want.
No thank you. ππππππ
Okay but what if I said your newest firearm is "pretty sexy" aye?
And her name should be Olive... After the green of the grippy bit. πππππ
If...
IF...
It would have to be Olive Oyl. (Do you know Popeye?)
Yes as I was typing her name Popeye came to mind π€£ I didn't know her full name though. That's funny
We should watch the Popeye movie sometime!
There's a movie? I never liked Popeye that much... Ever seen the Tintin movie? I loved Tintin but haven't seen the movie since it was released... I just realised how old it must be... And how old I must be to remember watching it π€π±π’
The animated Tintin movie?
The Popeye movie is utterly brilliant.
Can't remember if it was animated or not... I thought it was a live action one but an internet check seems to indicate I'm thinking back to an animated one in 2011...π€
I might look at you funny and then agree. π€·ββοΈ
Lol. Don't go with a collapsible stock. π
Why? I'm rather fond of them.
Preferences. π€·ββοΈ Nice lookin' rifle, though. π
Gotcha. This one will be a lot less overgassed than the previous setup, so between that and the buffer spring and buffer I've selected, it should be very mild to shoot.
They don't seem to absorb recoil as well as fixed or foldable stocks from my experience. That's all.
Oh. That's comes down to the spring length and buffer weight. You can get the same effect with an A5 system using the longer A5 style extension tube, a rifle length spring and starting with an H2 buffer. Those are parts that will be going on my 308 build later this year.
Although, this also depends on the caliber. I don't like collapsible stocks on 7.62 or .308 rifles. They don't handle all that well, imo.
Well, I haven't shot a 7.62x39 AR or an AR10 style 308. I'll report how it feels in the future.
7.62x51
Oh! Sure. Lots more recoil. But, it can be tamed pretty well.
βMERICA F YEAH! πͺ
Exactly! π
I tried to post the song for you on here but it wouldnβt upload π

Videos are big and you tend to need to sub to one of the relays that will let you upload larger content to do that.
Barring that, a YouTube link works most of the time:
