I’m reading through NIP-89 and realizing it has way more potential than just the DVM announcement use case. Clients using NIP-89 to automatically handle events without the developers knowing how to handle those events ahead of time is absolutely wild.

yeah, NIP-89 predates NIP-90. I wrote NIP-89 to solve the "is this Lana del rey?" problem. If you're curious about this I gave a keynote in Nostrasia about it
