I played around with highlighter this morning for a little bit. Can tell me if I understand it correctly?

When I create a nostr “highlight” it can only be viewed in a client that supports viewing “highlights,” however those are tagged. However, comments on highlights can be viewed in any client because they are a standard note. So, for example, I can view your highlights on Highlighter.com but not in Damus.

Is that right?

that's right; we are currently sorting out how clients can properly handle events they don't yet understand

fwiw, Amethyst does support properly rendering highlight events

Ok, that makes sense. I don’t have an android phone. But I’m sure this stuff will all get sorted out in the coming months.

I think it’s an awesome tool with a ton of potential!
