Create a bookmark on your browser with this as the url:

Now if you click that bookmarklet on almost any site, it'll open it up in Highlighter.com for you to highlight to your hearts desire!
I played around with highlighter this morning for a little bit. Can tell me if I understand it correctly?
When I create a nostr “highlight” it can only be viewed in a client that supports viewing “highlights,” however those are tagged. However, comments on highlights can be viewed in any client because they are a standard note. So, for example, I can view your highlights on Highlighter.com but not in Damus.
Is that right?
that's right; we are currently sorting out how clients can properly handle events they don't yet understand
fwiw, Amethyst does support properly rendering highlight events
