Very disappointing. Was it defrosted in a microwave? 😆
No. If that was frozen and defrosted in a microwave the meat would have been grey. While overcooked, this doesn't show signs of being frozen and defrosted. This was just an inexperienced cook who doesn't understand how to properly cook a steak to temperature.
I feel your pain. I'm going to try cold searing tomorrow. But sous vide is coming in Dec.
As long as you left some pink, it don’t stink 🤷♂️✌️✊
