It "works" just fine.
However I cannot do anything more than what theyve allowed me to do(very basic functionality for each app) and that fucking sucks
Can't add CLN plugins, can't add whitelists to nostr relay app, config files for bitcoin node app reset after an update etc etc
It is not what you want when self hosting at all....
Sure you can... You just don't know how. It's Linux. You can do whatever you want.
Well obviously you’re not a target user this is for.. I run it on my own hardware (only bitcoin related apps, my other stuff runs on docker or other machines). I like the set and forget feel of it.. one less thing to worry about.. and yes it looks nice but don’t really care about that
Running on your own hardware is fine because you have the option to switch, this box I bought has no display output so it's fucking useless :)
You did overpay though. You could have just bought an old think center mini and gotten better performance for a third of the price.
