Love the IRC channel design.

Usability feedback and potential u happy path:

1) choose a server

2) click on a room

3) write a message

4) receive error message indicating failure

5) retry does not do anything

If I am new to all of this what do I do? For example, might there be a “contact relay owner” button/prompt?

Thank you, didn’t see there was a button there, nor did I know I have to request to join.

I suppose the text box and the blinking cursor indicated I am good to write a message right away.

Button 2 has all the options.

Button 1 and 2 are not the same.

What happens in my case, flotilla tells me access denied, but for chachi I can still post, "We received an error from the relay indicating you don't have access to groups.0xchat.com:"

nostr:npub1jlrs53pkdfjnts29kveljul2sm0actt6n8dxrrzqcersttvcuv3qdjynqn when I attempt to write to the damus relay and try to respond to nostr:npub149p5act9a5qm9p47elp8w8h3wpwn2d7s2xecw2ygnrxqp4wgsklq9g722q I receive the following error message:

“Failed to publish to relay.damus.io: blocked: event marked as protected.”

What can I do to fix this?

The video links aren't working for me, FF says they're corrupted. Damus rejecting events is interesting, it's because they don't support auth, and so can't compare the author against the logged in user. I think I can fix this.
