The people expecting an 80% correction this time around are gonna get caught holding the bag if SBR happens. MSTR and US Gov are gonna absorb all the coins as retail sells into the pump.

Trump can force the rest of the world’s hand. When UHNW individuals see that they will pile onto IBIT and there will be no stigma for the rest of publicly traded companies to add it to their reserves.
I agree with you but I also see how it could go wrong. Trump is going to encourage shitcoining like never before seen. I think it will be like the previous cycle where FTX and other exchanges put a damper on the bitcoin price.
Once all of crypto crashes spectacularly, bitcoin will go down with it temporarily and rise again in the next cycle. Bitcoins liquidity allows anyone to sell it quickly, and since they can’t sell the other worthless shitcoins, they will have to sell bitcoin if they are over leveraged.
A price drop from 1M to $200,000 is an 80% drop and is very possible IMO.
I doubt FTX like players will be able to out stack MSTR, IBIT, and governments. Things are different now. There is a non zero chance we have an 80% correction, but I wouldn’t put money on it
