That building is a temple from a local monastery here in Jashore, Bangladesh.

Thank you so much, dear nostr:npub19jctn3qfcc8d2nmmhecpvclgdrazalcjddeunhfsy2qyh33j7zdsuf5nfh, for the music you’ve shared with me! I'm actually listening to it as I'm writing. I've never heard of any Paul Horn music before. Definitely going to go through the whole album! Such a meditating experience! Acknowledge my gratitude for everything you’ve shared with me so far. May be this is what they mean when they talk about the openness and diversity in communications, experiences and exchanges in this internet space, #Nostr. 💜🙏💜

(Boosting it here again for everyone to listen!)

You're very welcome Athoi.

Paul is considered the father of new age music. He was a jazz musician and played with everyone from the great Duke Ellington to the Beatles, where he met up with in an ashram in Rishikesh in 1967. He also taught meditation as did I back in the '70s. That's how we met and became friends. He was a mentor to me. You are such a beautiful young woman. The world is in good hands.

All the best to you.

Mike

I'm definitely going to dig Paul more. Thank you so much for the gift of sharing this! And oh what an amazing and eventful life you have been living! Wish you so much love and peace! 🤗💜🫂

One of the things Paul taught me as a young man was to not expect. To approach all things anew. Wish you so much love and peace! 💕

I live in Vancouver, Canada. Have you been?

That's a great teaching. It's commonly discussed here in our culture too.

"To approach all things anew" — how refreshing! Just uttering the words gives an instant inner peace. 🤍

I've only ever been in Bangladesh and a few short trips in India. But life is so unpredictable and world is much more smaller now so who knows! I'll definitely let you know if I ever go anywhere near you! 💜🤗

When we find time to turn our attention inward, to allow the mind to settle, to open to pure awareness, we begin to cultivate inner and outer purity.

As our physiology, our nervous system, the machinery of perception, becomes more flexible, more fluid, the impressions left from our daily experience are released rather than held. Like a stick moving through water, or the air, rather than being etched in stone.

Our experiences become deeper, more fulfilling as nature begins to support our desires more and more. Because they are more in tune with the laws of nature.

In a simple, natural, effortless way we experience all things anew each moment of our life.

So happy to have met you Athoi, in the #Nostr neighbourhood., ✨💕🌻

My gratitude, Mike. Thank you for this beautiful note. 💜💜

My pleasure, Athoi. 💜💜
