I actually interned at a Yale medical hospital in administration during my college days. The pompous operations guys walking around in suits while everyone else is in scrubs. All they are worried about is driving profit and getting good reviews.

Patient care quality assurance stuff was definitely part of it, but it was disconcerning to see how much focus was on the money side

Clowns like this always amuse me.

Their reflex is to cut programs and positions that don’t generate revenue, but then this ultimately pisses off staff and patients that rely on these services.

The irony is that all the nonclinical administrator salaries/administrative glut generates…(checks notes)…zero revenue.
