More anonymous, pay with bitcoin, credits don't expire, data plan just works in many places for travel. Probably not the solution for a TB a month though! 😊 I use with mullvad.net so it doesn't always look like I'm from Poland or wherever, not that there's anything wrong with that 😉 Couldn't quite get I message/facetime sorted on iPhone where physical sim was for number and silent.link esim was for data only. But all good so far on grapheneos pixel 👍

I can definitely see where such a service would be advantageous. And comparing it to my typical, domestic phone plan is probably not comparing apples to apples. I use my phone for everything, including providing internet access to all my devices and computers (which is how I'm able to consume so much data). Obviously, silent.link wouldn't be the best option for my use case given that I'd be spending thousands of dollars a month for something I could get for $145, but again, I can see where different needs may justify the use of such a service.
