⚡️❓Whether or not to allow the recovery of #Bitcoin lost to hackers using quantum computers is the debate between the Bitcoin community.

For Jameson Loop, crypto security manager, burning BTC vulnerable to quantum attacks is the best option.

In his view, allowing individuals or institutions equipped with quantum computers to recover lost BTC violates the Bitcoin network's properties of censorship resistance, transaction immutability and conservatism.

"Allowing quantum recovery of Bitcoin would be tantamount to wealth redistribution. We would thus be authorizing the redistribution of bitcoin from those who know nothing about quantum computers to those who have won the technological race to acquire them."
