How do you verify gold? or any metal? The tungsten scandal in gold bullion arose in 2012, now in 2023 with nickel.
Bitcoin is superior to gold because it is very easy to verify, you just have to have your own node.
The entirety of UTXO set can be audited from basically any computer in the world, & ppl are bearish.
