The new iOS looks like it’s going to be awesome. But I’m so nervous about custodial AI and the data it can accumulate about me. I don’t trust Apple.

Sadly I also understand what an amazing tool AI is going to be and opting out would put me at a disadvantage.

I have open source LLMs and Image transformers running on my desktop. But the proprietary stuff is just so much better integrated for daily life.

Hard to choose the right path.
