It's a brand of bb gun that became known as the whole thing?
Not real BBs but basically. It's like CO2 powered guns that shoot plastic BBs. I have hit myself in the face with a ricochet from one of those. #notfun

No, airsoft guns shoot airsoft pellets that are little plastic beads that go fast enough to leave a welt but not to break skin.
Boys spends mad $$$ on suped up rigs and make war with each other and make youtube videos about it.
Basically paintball but even dumber
