I want to introduce everyone to the awesome sport of cowboy mounted shooting! This is a timed event where you use black powder blanks in a single action revolver to pop balloon targets, following a stage description. Fastest time wins, missed balloons adds penalty time.

Whoops! This is a picture from the shotgun class! A part of a shoot, you can choose to participate in the shotgun class where you use a pistol on 5 balloon targets and the last 5 are in 2 clusters (3 and 2) that you pop with a side-by-side shotgun.
Very cool.. I’ve seen this done a few times at the Madison Horse Fair in Wisconsin.
