It feels like the last few months have started to have a tangible shift in the mood in Australia.

Cost of living has been getting bad for a while. There is a rental crisis with families lining up down the street for property inspections and aplications, most to be turned away, an increasing number becoming homeless. Violent crime, home invasions and random attacks are on the rise. The culture has been deteriorating much the same as it has around the world.

At first there was simply apathy, then despair. Now it feels to be transitioning to anger. Currently it is hiding just under the surface. Coming out in increasingly common bursts of rage and rants in private conversations. But I fear we are heading towards a breaking point. With so many people pushed to their limit with no vision for a better future I am scared to see what that breaking point looks like.
