I have a friend who I forced to accept $20 in bitcoin 9 years ago.

Today it’s $5,000

He never bought more, but he has held it for almost a decade.

I can’t decide if I’m proud of him or annoyed by him lol 😂

AT LEAST HE'S HFSP

Have friends like that too

Glad he has at least some sats

Annoyed for sure

I offered my barber to accept bitcoin in the last 2 years. He said he did not want it, going to make him regret his decisions next week by showing him what he left on the table.

😂😂😂

Hodl them sats

Casual 8m sats for $20

I'm more proud than annoyed. He stayed humble and didn't get greedy, but didn't learn anything about why Bitcoin did what it did in all these years.

Wait, I'm starting to get more annoyed than proud.

omg who just sits there watching that happen 🤣

I made my friend who ran our fantasy football league back in the day to accept my $100 entry fee in Bitcoin when Btc was around $400. He has held it since now worth $15,000 he also did not buy anymore........ Annoyed he didnt but also proud because back in the day all my friends laughed me off he actually accepted it and has secured it fine all these years. Decent reward for him.

I love this, there are so many people who would fall in this category 🤣

Wow, that's impressive...

But I can't help you with your dilemma, veri difficult question 😅

I mean it’s impressive he still has the keys. Did he self custody or did you send it to his coinbase?

My best bud still has the 0.25 BTC I gave him for xmas '2013. He never bought more. Now he just mumbles 'guess I'll have fun staying poor'. The crazy thing is, he's a really talented and well paid engineer, and I'm sure that in some parallel universe, he's a multi-billionaire.

There’s a lesson in there… somewhere 😵‍💫
