reminds me of a story I was told by my friend's Italian grandmother. well, half-italian, grandmother who was from Palestine.

in the late 50's she attended the miss universe pageant in Rome. So she set sail on a ship from Beirut to Rome. the ship's captain fell in love with her, and I don't remember the rest of the story.

Italian is definitely the best sounding language

Do you know some Italian? As soon as I learn a bit of any language I forget how it sounds. But I agree, Italian sounds good even though I don't know any.

People usually complain about German, but I think it sounds good :-D

Dutch bothers me because I feel like half the words sound like English but I just don't quite get them and it's frustrating.

And I like Brazilian Portuguese. I like Vietnamese, even though I don't understand it. but I used to rent from some Vietnamese, and they were sweet and it just sounds familiar, and they fed me some amazing green mango and seafood salad.
