If you suffer from low back pain, you know it’s no joke! I’ve been dealing with back issues since I was a teenager, thanks to a cheerleading injury and a fall while ice skating.

Low back pain can flare up unexpectedly and be quite debilitating. Stretching can often provide relief—stretches like the **pigeon pose** (which opens the hips and releases tension in the lower back) or seated stretches that target the hips and back are helpful. Alternating between heat and ice is another method to reduce pain and inflammation.
