if you want to accelerate the growth the soil needs carbon, it's the main nutrient for soil, it holds nutrients, it feeds bacteria, and you can even just use coal!

I make biochar on the ranch already and use it all the time. I'm looking into best nitrogen fixing trees n shrubs to grow desert climate. Legumes or bean family like acacia already grow here n looking to plant more along with mesquite.
