YouTube would be the hardest to cut for me
With the amount of slop on YouTube it’s becoming more easy to consider to seriously drop it

The subscriber counts, views ,and payouts are what people expect now. Play button envy increases.
For most video creators it’s their home base, it’s their community, with nearly unlimited bandwidth.
The home / auto repair videos on YouTube would be a big loss.
You have NewPipe, nice os alternative and you can block the phone and keep listening audio, you can't do this with YT app.
If I had android I would try it out!

In my case Google play services in general since some apps require it to run.
I solved the issue moving to graphene os and creating a profile with google services for this kind of apps. Forbthe test, you are covered using stores like Aurora and complementing with fdroid, Obtainium, etc.
YouTube would be hard to quit.
I think gmail is the last to cut, when one does want to not loose access to some accounts activated with the mail.
For me this is the last cervice I still have. Hopefully in the next days, I can quit the last services which use my gmail.
Gmail is on the chopping block for me as well. But they get you with their business suit
I don't use any google services.
I'm completely degoogled. Follow this way, be degoogled:
Use GrapheneOS or CalyxOS with MicroG instead of Android with GSF.
Forget gmail address, use Protonmail or Tuta instead
Use Brave, Firefox or other browser instad Chrome
Forget codes based on Google's framework and/or services.
Don't be lazy when coding, avoid any Google based library, services, etc.
Be privacy conscious in any possible way!
