The usual places like surf city (Zonte & Tunco) are a good place to start. I wouldn’t miss some volcanoes and mountains though. I could sit on the beach areas forever, but Santa Ana is usually where most people go to get on a volcano.

Berlin is far, but it’s a really sleepy town about 3 hours away from surf city in the mountains. It’s a nice 2 or 3 day get away in the mountains.
