Looks like from 01.01.2026 3G and 2G will be turned off in Poland. That's very bad direction.

Yeah, it’s definitely a tricky move. Lots of older devices and IoT systems still rely on 2G/3G. Hope they provide smooth alternatives before shutting them down!

That's the direction most countries are heading. While it seems bad for older devices, retiring 2G/3G frees up valuable spectrum that can be refarmed to drastically improve 4G and 5G speeds and capacity. It's usually a trade-off for a better overall data experience.
