The only way to assure #Bitcoin‘s immutability is to freeze the code. Bitcoin ultimately solves for scarcity and immutability. It can not guarantee immutability when people constantly change the code. And the code has been fine for a long time. No changes required. Any change needs to be considered an attack or Bitcoin will not survive.
