I was approached by someone who trusts me. They've got got ÂŁ500 min a week to save. They don't understand what bitcoin is. But know they're being robbed by holding cash because of inflation. I explained.. I wish they didn't trust me and they should figure out how to buy bitcoin using someimg as simple as strike, buy it and send it straight to cold storage in small quantities. They told me they trust me and want to send me the money then hold it in bitcoin. I explained to them, I'm not a bank and they should grow some balls and do some some research. They pressed.. hard. What would you do nostr? #asknostr

maybe walk them through the process step-by-step (show them what software to use, how to use it, etc)

Definitley continue to hold your ground and make sure they take full responsibility for their Bitcoin.

I would also encourage them to read The Big Print by @Lawrence Lepard. It’s a great read for those who are just entering the space to get excited about using Bitcoin as a tool to escape the current fiat situation.

Small steps. HODL for them and tell them to study it. Hopefully someday they see the light. Even if they don’t , you just preserved your friend’s wealth for them and they will be better for it.
