A whole lot is being built to allow monetization of content on Nostr. Things being discussed, developed:

Notes with encrypted files with the intention of having the zap deliver the decryption key.

Zap tags, with zap split built in at protocol level (revenue split at each zap). The tag would follow if quoted for example and gather revenue from other notes.

Decentralized storage for heavier duty media (music and video)

Nostr has the foundations to reinvent publishing, and porn, as always, will show the way.
