After watching Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny on Disney+ (didn’t bother to watch it in the theatre cuz I knew the film was gonna be bad) and the new Star Wars trilogy, here are the recipes for how Disney ruined your childhood heroes in the sequels:

- Make them sad, hopeless, grumpy, and depressed af

- Create new generations of heroines to become a lead after them (if there are more sequels), which is fine if they have good writing and screenplay, but they didn’t show in any of those films

- Destroy and disregard the legacies that they built and what made them great from the previous films

- Conclude the character's arcs so easily

A bit sad for Lucas, but still I think he doesn't care anymore since he got a chunk load of money from them. However, the audiences or fans like myself will always be.

So screw you, Disney.
