But you have to ask yourself: “how valuable are those views?” And “who are the kind of people your content reaches?”
A view, on a platform that can cancel out at any moment, is a risk.
Whilst the modern social media experience is like a casino, slot machine content, short form video, that’s got people highly addicted. How valuable are addicted eyeballs?
Now the status quo will tell you it’s a trade worth making
But is it?
Maybe not
And the traction on Nostr is proof that there is a demand for something different
Even reaching this conclusion takes some work that many aren’t willing to do
