Just played this insane board game, “Power Grid” - a combo of Monopoly and Trek. Really really cool, very well thought out.

Tell me what pro freedom/independent thinking/awesome movies are age appropriate for my 12 year old. I was never a big movie guy but we've watched Gladiators 1 and 2 the past week. I'm thinking "The Patriot" next. Violence and cursing not of concern, but prefer very little to not sexual content.

I'm in my mini series era. I watched All Her Fault. It was amazing.

I swear if I knew half of what I know now about the nature of our relationship with government when I was 18, before I had dependents that would suffer if I weren’t around, the country would have had a persistent problem for at least a few months.

Maybe I’m just pussing out right now, but martyrdom at this point to achieve nothing just doesn’t make as much sense as spreading awareness and focusing on achieving food, water, energy and monetary sovereignty.

But the need remains to educate young men and women about the traps that lie in store for them in this system. And the importance of practicing non compliance at every turn.

After all, it’s a beautiful world. We just need to take it back.

I've read plenty of fiction and nonfiction, but I get a lot more out of fiction nowadays. Unless the subject of the nonfiction is particularly enlightening.

What have you done for Bitcoin this year?

I’m often frustrated because I feel like I want to find a way to contribute to Bitcoin, the Bitcoin community, and spreading the good word to all the plebs. But I haven’t figured out exactly how to do this in a meaningful way yet. I’m still looking for how I can use my time and skill to contribute in a unique way in this space.

But today I realized I’ve actually done something this year. A small thing, but more than nothing.

I have a YouTube channel where I review nonfiction books for people committed to lifelong learning. This year I have reviewed and recommended several books that could open people’s eyes to Bitcoin (directly and indirectly)

I think you have a great show. I was commenting more on the echo chamber nature of the space today as it relates to V4V.

We all know the problems. I think part of the reason I’ve been on the 40HPW kick this year is because I’m obsessed with finding anything that points to solutions.

The big unlock that I’m looking for right now is getting people to care about privacy and sovereignty when it comes to communications and transacting value.

In the meantime, anything to do with mesh networks, cryptography and sovereign computing are all super interesting. And yes, even their biases and limitations. That’s not a bug. That’s what makes it real. That’s what makes it useful in ways a perfect answer never could be.

Because here’s the thing: you don’t just need correct information. You need to understand how someone got there.
