Pluribus: they had such a nice setup but did literally nothing with it, the season finale could have passed as a mid season filler. I'll still watch the next season. The writers have something fresh and original on their hands, but it's also very easy to ruin it.

Agree. Nothing wrong with a slow burn, but they've taken it so slow its in danger of being fully extinguished.
Hopefully they hit the ground running next season.
