BlueWallet announces they are shutting down their custodial lightning service (Lndhub.io) at the end of April, and moving forward will only support self-custodial solutions. Link to their full announcement below.

What this means for users of the BlueWallet app:

* Regular on-chain bitcoin wallets are not affected.

* Lightning wallets connected to your own node or your own instance of lndhub, or connected to other non-BlueWallet nodes, are also not affected.

* Any sats in a default custodial BlueWallet lightning wallet should be moved to another wallet as soon as possible.

* Service will shut down April 30.

What option you choose to get the sats out and unify with the ones in Alby, ZBD, stacker news... Before sending to Phoenix? (I have less than 200k and want to reduce fees and open the biggest channel possible...)

May I ask, what lighting wallet are you using? Last week I downloaded Wallet of Satoshi, although haven't transacted with it yet.

I have a couple of wallets and I’ll explain why. I’m using Lightning Tip Bot (https://LN.tips) with Nostr. You set it up with telegram and then can link it to Zeus, Alby, or BlueWallet to control it. Wallet of Satoshi is great too. You just have to everything within their own app. They both provide full support for Nostr features. However they are both custodial, so I don’t keep a large balance in them. If the balance gets to be more than a few dollars worth of sats, I move the excess sats to a non-custodial wallet. My favorite is Breez. Phoenix is good too.

Their announcement said you can still withdraw sats so you should be able to just create an invoice from any lightning wallet and pay it with your BlueWallet to move the sats out. You might have to make the invoice for a little less than the full balance to account for routing fees.
