I tried it with AmEx but I got rugged when they blocked it and forced the payment to go through my bank account without a warning. PayPal sucks ass.
Funny I just saw this on the app.. I was thinking that this is silly what is this 2005 using PayPal?
I’ve been doing that for the past year (aside from when it was temporarily unavailable).
Great hack for stacking sats on large expenses.
I use it. It works to get an extra few sats paying bills you'd normally have to pay anyway.
I had to start up a new Paypal account in order to try it since I permanently closed my prior Paypal account long ago.
For a while they had it working where I was getting a great deal by using the free version of the FoldApp card. Recently they changed it to where you only get a few extra spins of the prize wheel after your payment is finalized, so now the sats back aren't nearly what they were 6 months ago.
Still a few free sats back, so I still use it. Find me something better and I'll gladly use something else just to not have anything to do with Paypal.
