Good question, are those the normal case fans like an nf-a14 or the server grade stuff? Will they push enough air?

They're stock NZXT fans I pulled off a Kraken z63 liquid cooler radiator. They're rated for static pressure so they should be OK?
I'm running another miner at 800 watts and it's only spinning the 120mm at like 1500-1800rpm. These 140s I believe are rated for somewhere around 2000 max and they ought to spin slower than the 120s. 🤞🏽
We'll see... fuck around and find out right?!
Can't wait to see how it turns out, i didn't even know you could run a miner that low.
I've got braiins in my miners. The software actually let you run them all the way down to 100 watts! Maybe just get a nerdminer at that point hahaha.
I'll note about it once I get it plugged in! I gotta figure out the power situation for the wifi dongle first. Didn't consider where to plug it into. Doh!
Oh this is perfect, its exactly what's been holding me back from mining, I'm looking to start around 500w and slowly replace my DCA.
Not gonna lie tho, running it at 800 watts only nets me like 2200ish sats a day on f2pool. I've only ran it for a few days though so might not be entirely accurate. Running it on slushpool now so we'll see if that ends up being any better.
Hmmm, yea its a steep hike over just buying bitcoin from an exchange, I wonder how much of it is efficiency from running it low and how much of it is the hardware. Its an s9 right?
Yeah it's an s9i
It's definitely cheaper to just buy from exchange but its also contributing to the network. For me, I'm replacing the electricity cost of 3 different space heaters so the sats will make it a net savings for me (in the winter anyways).
