After listening to this latest podcast from nostr:npub14mcddvsjsflnhgw7vxykz0ndfqj0rq04v7cjq5nnc95ftld0pv3shcfrlx with nostr:npub1w69ya7xs697hk3hky3gllryz8rwverfa0ylz89chf9qnhfcskc2s64zltw , he express different times that nostr is bad for Bitcoin because it distracts the developers who dedicate their time to developing nostr. Wdyt? For me, I believe that nostr and bitcoin go hand in hand, and mutual benefit is obtained from their development

I think nostr is the biggest opportunity to work closely with Bitcoin than there has ever been. For many reasons.

Some of which are: Bitcoin companies tend to be heavy on fincen regulations and unexciting exchange of currencies. They actually wish they could build a nostr, but can't because they're in a quagmire of regulations and risk. They would never pay someone with lightning to make memes. They would never implement zaps in a day. They have to stay in the app stores and suckle up to big tech. Or they are so small that they're only a few developers needed.

Nostr is so exciting and full of possibilities, and I'm glad I'm here for it whether it succeeds or not. Hopefully these guys will see that and join the party instead of complaining about where to 'allocate devs'. 🤙

Yes! Definitely I believe that they are not self-exclusive things, the development of both technologies advocates freedom, and they are supported by an open source model. For me, this criticism does not make sense other than that he wasn't interested in learning, or has contrary interests for some reason.
